Hope you had a great weekend, and if you are a 49er fan I hope you’re not TO upset about how the super bowl ended. I myself didn’t care to much about the game this year because my team (Green Bay Packers) didn’t make it this year, But they will dominate next season, I’m sure of it (;
I just thought I would show you my Sunday cowgirl boots, I have my normal/working cowgirl boots, and then my church/fancy boots! You know you’re a country girl when you only wear boots. (:
They are the best shoe in my opinion (besides flip flops or
going barefoot) that you can wear, and they also look good in jeans or skirts.
My 2 younger sister’s and I, they are 2 pretty, awesome, godly, young ladies. I love having girl time with them, rather its painting our nails, listening to music, baking, or just talking. Sisters are some of THE best friends one can have.
I had a busy, yet fun weekend. On Saturday, us girls did some more wedding dress shopping. It is so hard these days to find modest brides-maid dresses! Even for younger girls, in my sisters cases. We picked out some dresses but I we will be adding some extra straps and sleeves to be a little more covered.
They did have some pretty chiffon shawls I thought would look cute with summery dresses. (: Ahh!! Cant wait for summer!
On Sunday, I got up a little earlier then I usually do. I attended a new Bible study, which is before the church service. It’s a class on how to study you’re Bible, my daddy is leading it. I took a lot of notes, and keeping them in a folder so I can have them to look through when I need them. I’m anxious to learn more!
Later Sunday, we went to my oldest brother and his families house for a super bowl party. Even though the whole family wasn’t able to come, I do love getting together with at least part of the family. I’m extremely blessed with the big family God has blessed me with! (:
I thought I would share a passage of scripture that I read this morning in my personal devotions, its one of my favorites.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-14
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;
A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace. What profit has the worker from that in which he labors? I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God. I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.
Such a great reminder that EVERYTHING is in Gods timing, and not mine.
Have a great night (:
