I’m sorry I haven't been able to keep up with this blog these last few months. Life starts to get busy and everything just happens at once so I forgot little things like posting on my website.
Wedding parties, baby shower parties for my sisters have finally come to a close, and my graduation open house and birthday was last weekend so that is now out of the way as well.
I will soon be done with my current nanny job, at the end of the month. I’ll be taking a couple month break from any permanent job. Since I was 12, I have always had a job. During the summer It would be full time and during school it was part time, but never the less I've always worked some sort of job. Not that I had or really needed to, I’ve just always enjoyed it. But I decided taking a little break just for the summer would do me good (:
I have a few places in mind, but this fall I will be working again.
I graduate June 1st, I use to think this day would never come. I remember when I was a freshman, and my first thought was “Ahh just 4 more years left of school...then I’m done!” That period of time between freshman and graduate travels by so incredibly fast.
I’m ready for the next step of life, I’m not like most young people my age who have careers and colleges picked and planned out. I’ve always known college would never be for me. Maybe a few art classes here and there, but I've never wanted to be a full time student.
I’ve just always wanted my own house and family, and college cant teach you that. I’m not worried about my life though, God will lead me and have me where He wants.
My summer plan is to, spend a lot of time fishing, reading, running, and camping, I can not wait. (:
After graduation I will be flying down south to spend a couple weeks with my boyfriend and his family, long distant relationships are extremely hard but they are possible. Once you’ve met someone who you know is the one God has for you, you don't let things like hundreds of miles get in the way. (:
Then I will come home, just in enough time to see my sister get married. My best friend for 18 years is getting married in a month or so, we’ve talked about this day since we were little girls. Now that the day has come upon us, it doesn't seem real.
I just finished writing my “Maid of Honor” speech, that was the hardest speech I've ever written. Marriage is a beautiful thing but its hard to talk about it when its you’re own sister, she’s all grown up...*sniff sniff*
Well I conclude this post with a picture of my wonderful family, my nephew Brentley, and my brother Zachary were un able to make it for the photo due to work and other engagements. But I still adore this photo. I love my family (-:
